The OrangeRx RFA04C has all the properties and features of the original FASST compatible receivers but they have been improved even further to make them even more versatile. They will accept a wide range of input voltages from 3.5~8.4V which is great if you want to use LV and HV type servos. The receiver is mainly 4 channels but there is a fifth channel available if a Y lead is used to supply power to the receiver and servos. To do this you need to plug a Y lead into socket 5 and then the servo can be plugged in one side of the Y lead and the power into the other. Due to it's compact design this particular receiver is perfect to fit into car and boat radio boxes or anywhere else where space is at at premium.
These second generation FASST receivers have 2 selectable failsafe setting options, have improved interference capability and are firmware upgradeable. They also have 2 PPM modes, HS and FS mode which is easily selectable by pressing the F/S button on the receiver. HS mode is only suitable for high speed servos, all other servos should be used in FS mode otherwise you will burn them out.
Compatible with the following Futaba FASST 2.4Ghz air systems (7ch mode/multi mode): 6EX, 7C, TM-7, TM-8, T8FG, T10C, TM-10, T10CG, 14SG, T12Z, T12FG, TM-14, T14MZ etc.
Futaba FASST 2.4Ghz surface systems (C1 mode): 3PK, 4PK etc.
